SwiftLap (“we”, “the app”) helps swimmers and coaches track performance. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Account information: your name and email address when you sign up (via email, Google, or Apple).
• Performance data you enter: swim times, goals, meets and race results, and videos you choose to upload for feedback.
• Apple Watch / HealthKit data: if you use the watch app, we read heart rate, swimming strokes, and distance during a workout to count laps and estimate fatigue, and we save completed workouts to your SwiftLap account.

How we use it

To provide the app’s features — tracking your swims, analysing progress, generating training and race plans, and (if you are linked to a coach) letting your coach view your performance and send feedback. We do not sell your data or use HealthKit data for advertising.

Who can see your data

Your data is visible to you and, if you accept a coach’s invite, to that coach. We do not share it with other third parties except our infrastructure providers (Supabase, which stores the data, and our hosting provider) acting on our behalf.

Deleting your account

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete Account in the app (or the menu on the coach dashboard). This removes your profile, performance data, and login.
